If you are really serious about caring for your skin in the right way, there are a few tools that you should invest in. Your skin will thank you later.
Loofahs and sponges
Some of the tools that may assist in toning up the skin are a loofah (removes dead cells and stimulates circulation) and a sea sponge. A nylon sponge will suffice if you are unable to get a sea sponge.
Body brush
A body brush is a valuable tool to have, not only for exfoliating purposes, but because these brushes generally have long handles and are great for stimulating skin tone on the back. Dry brushing is an excellent way of removing dead tissue and should be done before bathing as it helps to clear up congestive skin disorders such as dermatitis and eczema.
Pumice stones and washcloths
A pumice stone, made from volcanic lava, is idea for rubbing onto the dry, rough skin on heels and elbows before soaking them in a warm bath filled with some luxurious essential oils. A flannel washcloth is another important item you need. While soaking in a bath, add some essential oils to the washcloth, then massage it over your face.
If you are feeling extravagant, treat your hair with essential oils, wrap your hair in a towel, and then relax in an oil bath.
